Yoga works best when it is tailored to the needs of the individual.
Private lessons can either be a led practicein privated or Alison can undertake an assessment negotiate goals and develop an individualised home yoga practice for you.
Do you need some support to clarify your goals and develop a plan of action to get you where you want to be? Alison can tailor a series of coaching sessions for you.
Do you prefer to a guided meditation to a mantra or counting. Alison can write and record a meditation for you.
Simply play the meditation back whenever you want to.

Have you always been curious about yoga but weren't sure if it is for you or how you might get started?
You will be offered options that suit your body as it is now and that are also most effective in supporting you to achieve your goals.

Yoga works best when it is individualised to your needs so we only work in small groups or one on one. Meet at Alison's home studio or put your own group together. Alison loves introducing people to her love of yoga and does her best to ensure that you have a positive first experience. She is a 500 hour trained yoga teacher and is also a registered medical practitioner.

Alison lives in a curvy (larger) body and is over 50. She is a certified "curvy yoga" teacher after studying with Anna Guest-Jelley of curvyyoga.com
Yoga should be comfortable and pleasant as well as being highly effective at supporting you in reaching your goals.
You will be guided to be in control of your own practice. You will not be expected to do anything that is not right for you on the day.
